Well the answer to what you can do is really simple one person can make a difference after all the state of the world is where it is because people changed one person at a time. Community the people we live around our neighbors all are tired. Me I'm looking for a pro bono (not Sony Bono Attorney) and a few others to fight this crap not on new terms but upon the terms they have defined. In short use the very same laws and ways they have to the average persons advantage public service is an honor one does it not for profit but to benefit their community and all people. So pro bono out of school attorny and no job PM me or anyone else so I can bounce a few ideas about after all there are elections in November
I believe that one of the characteristics of the human race - possibly the one that is primarily responsible for its course of evolution - is that it has grown by creatively responding to failure.- Glen Seaborg

…and what color is puce
My 2¢
television has always had a habit of taking one stereotype and turning into a hero or villian. this may be part of the reason stereotypes are propagated. start it with the children. then they grow up to be confused teenagers with a disposition to hate this kind of person or that. sesame street is on the same channel (along with the teletubbies) and that show deals with a lot of problems in actual world, of course to a candied-up version for kids, but kids will see this and remember it. hackers, 'cept for a few movies, have pretty much been portrayed as the bad, or at least mis-lead guys and then they see the error of their ways. of course, the normal person has no clue as to what goes on behind the scenes and the protection business is thus not seen as much. however, who bets that a few years down the road, when some hip networker saves the city of new york from certain disaster when the osama virus hits (u know, example) and suddenly the network cowboy is the next big thing in television. people need to learn more about it first, then they will accept. what is the addage? people fear what they dont understand. this is probably the case, but this show will not educate properly.
just like water off a duck\'s back... I AM HERE.

'Hobbies' Cheating (at anything)
'Favorit Movie' rodger rabbit (love the villan)
lol, they mid as well just label hackers as terrorist next!! ... o wait.. they already did..
To PBS.
Hacker:
A *Pompous* and *Power-Hunrgy* scoundrel - and dont under any circumstances, mess up his hair!
Is this what your feeding to children as to what a hacker is?
So you know not all hackers are evil people trying to kill you and mess you up. Many are what we like to call White Hat hackers who accually use their skills for the good and not the bad!
Does that mean we should call all cops evil because some are un fair and use discrimination!?
Does this mean we should call all big busniess evil because some put littler ones out of busniess?
Does this mean all kids are evil because once in a while one will be pushed over the edge and start a killing spree?
DOES THIS MEAN ALL hackers are evil because some use their abilitys in the wrong way? NO!
Now i ask you to do sumthing about your mistakes!

Someone "asked me"(via negative antipoints) the question
"what?" to what I wrote up there, so I'll clarify:
Media coverage is superficial in that it focuses on people's
appearance. If someone is deemed an enemy he must
be ugly as well.

Whenever you read an article or watch a news segment, you must say to yourself, "What is thier agenda?" When you only read one article on a story, you can be sure that there are facts missing. There will always be a biased opinion, this is the media.
Maybe a better idea would be to just prevent them from watching the tv at all until a certain age, but then we deny them a great learning tool. I'm baffled as to what to do myself. The people in power just seem so corupted.
Maybe educate them about the agenda's of media and teach them to look at both sides of the story before making a decision as to who is right and who is wrong.
