Computer myth ideas.

Hey all. I have to write a paper about some kind of myth. I was just wondering if anyone here knows of any decent sized, good myths relating to computers I'm all ears. Thanks.

Well... this isn't *exactly* a computer legend, however it is an urban legend and was prepared with the use of computer programs: Probably everyone here has received a dozen copies of the big shark jumping up for the the soldier hanging on the chopper-ladder off the coast of So. shouldnt this be in another forum? like generalchitchat for instance. anyway, i believe that there was a thread about how the internet began on here, you could call that a myth, search for How the internet began, i cant remember who posted it, i believe it was sumdumguy. haha that sounds funny.
