Why the hell would he use windows! It is full of (listen to this) INTENTIONAL security compromises. I seriously suggest hopping over to http://****microsoft.com and taking a look at a doc by "the r1ddler" called "Microsofts really hidden files".

more than likely his royal technical majesty uses a toltally custom system hardware probably customized as well after all he has all the money, the resources and the tech slaves at his command to create for him what ever he so desires. OS wise ide bet he is useing a specail version of windows, stripped down so it boots up faster and is more stable

I heard Bill Gates isn't that great with computers,
atleast that's what our school taught us. Bill gates just stole the idea from Jobs and made tonnes of money off of it and then got a company of smart people to do the work for him. We even watch movies saying this stuff. It might just be the teacher hates Bill Gates and doesn't know his ass from a computer monitor, but if its true then Bill would probably be using the easiest version of Windows with a computer one of his "lab mice" told him to get and is just using it to play as someone said Solitaire.

I would imagine he doesnt even care to learn anything with the money he has.

your teacher needs to do some research.

Sure there is some truth behind the jobs thing but gates is every bit a computer nerd with great programming and technical skill. Sure he has a good business brain too but that doesnt detract from him being a nerd and infact the real business driving force in MS is steve ballmer anyway and that is why now gates is CTO.

Even if he stole the idea anyway his wimp system is great and although people diss it it has brought us the PC industry which without the open source world wouldnt exist so wouldnt have othere OS's to rival them.

MS has and always will be a major force in the IT industry and deserves to be so, so do others aswell and that is what makes the IT industry so interesting.

If people didnt steal, create stuff that had bugs in it, make things expensive, licence everything then no one would be pushed to make better more innovative, cheaper and open source stuf that we all know and love so much.

Anyway all IT copanies and all IT is great, just love it and dont worry about the semantics of business !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I understand, from somebody at MS, Gates uses XP Pro. Whether it's the same version we get to use, he never said. I'm betting Bill isn't on a computer that much these days. Probably has one of his secretaries handle everything.
