I cant acess the rest of the pages in this thread and would really like to have read it all.
That being the case disregard anything I say that may contradict what has been said before..
Personal opinion.........I love the Idea of God...Any God to be exact! Any person of any faith that truly adhears to their faith is a good person in my books. I make no qualms on which faith it is. Have you wondered how so many faiths were established over time? Each coulture was seperate but sensed that there was "Something there" And formulated a "story" to explain what they felt! Christ was a great man and I am convinced that he truly belived himself to be the son of God. Which is great!!!!!! Now my olny problem with t is the lengths that have been taken in his name...murder .....The God I was taught to belive and love in would never say "Kill these men in my name" The god of love and forgivness would never say that. Also ....What if we are all wrong? What if a tiny part of all religions put together make up a true whole ? That is something that I thought up one day in a moment of self questioning and faith questioning.
One thing I do know is that there is a tiny part of god in all of us! We make up the whole!!!!! It depends what we do with our bit to be recived back into the whole when "we slip our earthly bonds" (anne rice quote in " ")
Another thought....man killed Christ once before....whats to say in mans ignorance it will be done again? If a Man was to go anywhere in North America and Say "I am Jesus returned" The poor man would be put away and drugged....not much different from the past ....excepct he was killed...now he would be put away fro life. Man has not changed enough to warrent him coming because we are all still humans with the flaw of ignorance.
Hmm was just reading this again and I got a weird idea in my head. Wouldn't God cease to exist if no one believed in Him or praticed religion...Whoa weird....Ok, or maybe God died and the Big Bang was His rebirth? Hmm interesting, ok well sorry if I offended anyone.
