I hope no one minds me asking, but how do you "abuse" the AntiPoints system? Obviously this type of thing is against Antionline Policy. Why would anyone do such a thing knowing they could be banned?

Why would someone go to all the time trouble and aggrevation to needle and harrass people secretly? This seems kind of dumb to me unless you really disliked them all from the start.This seems to be such a silly thing to do after you had belonged to a site for quite some time and had fun there. Why not just cut that site out of your viewing or say what you had on your mind openly and call it a day. Auntie

Er0k bro > please go back over the first post I made in this thread. The issue was not so much being banned itself, it was how this whole thing was handled by JP. As far as I'm concerned, the comments I left were not hostile, if others had such a severe problem with them as to make JP go after the ban switch JP should have told me so BEFORE he went after the ban switch to allow me to address the issue in public. It would have been resolved without my banning.

If you abuse the system, you're banned....plain and simple. If JP bans me tomorrow, I don't expect him to come and talk to me about it first. Admittedly, it would be nice if he did, but given that it is a courtesy that he has not extended in the past why should I expect him to do so for me? For that matter, why should he do it for you either? Yeah, it would be nice, but given that he didn't talk to ac1dsp3ctrum, R_A, Jehnx or any of the others first what makes you deserve special treatment?

Lesson to us all concerning the AP system: If you abuse, you lose.

EDIT: Ratman....once you say something to someone, thats pretty well it. It's not like you can go out, catch the words you spoke (or wrote), stick them in a box and then repair the damage (gee, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it) that the words have done (if you didn't mean it, you wouldn't have said it in the first place). The tongue is the most vicious weapon that any of us possess, and it should be used cautiously no matter what the circumstances.
