Phoenix's Bookmarks

Hello everyone

I have a problem that im facing which may sound trivial, but is posing quite a problem for me.
I have two computers. A and B. I normally use B. It had a problem, so i had to format it all over and all my bookmarks lost. ( I had data backup ). I got it fixed in two days because i was being a little lazy. Then i went to working on A, and luckily found all of my bookmarks stored in the Phoenix Browser. Now i need to copy them to this computer, they are both attached through LAN.
The problem is, that, unlike IE, you cannot copy and paste them. I tried to find files in the Phoenix directory but no avail. I wanted to know where is it that they could be stored in my computer as i know we have a lot of users of Mozilla here.

Try this link ....I think you can transfer that bookmark/webpages using FTP .. http://phoenix.liunet.edu/~it/cwp/00....html#transfer

sweet angel, I dont think that is what invader is after ..... the web browsing bookmarks normally stored in the "Phoenix" web browser is what he is after.

This is interesting and I am looking now, I can see my bookmarks, which are stored (by default) in the Imported IE Bookmarks/Links dropdown, but are not in the directory tree in Windows Explorer ..... off to find them now - they have to be here.

Invader, unfortunately I haven't the time to explore in-depth, have a Christmas function to attend, but check out this link http://www.mozillazine.org/forums/ for all the low-down on Phoenix FAQ etc, in the forum.

OK... had a few more minutes than I thought ... if you are using Windows XP, the bookmarks are found in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Phoenix\Profiles\default\something\bookmarks.html

Hello phat_penguin, im using windows 2000 Professional
Im sorry that i didnt mention that earlier.
Well well well, im tired o searchin lol
I made a search with the keyword "phoenix" thinking i might get the application data folder which was missing with the path that you had provided. It has the C:\Documents and Settings\username\
this link, but no application data. In any case, when i searched for Phoenix, i only got in C:\Program Files and Desktop. No more name of it mentioned anywhere. Very strange, but im very keen to know and it'll be very useful too.

Application Data is a hidden folder, in Windows Explorer go to tools/folder options/view and check the show hidden files/folders option and apply .... it should be then appear

Phoenix is writing bookmarks to the bookmark.html file - thats the one you need.

Another thing that somebody helped me with :
While in Phoenix, open up the Bookmark manager.
Under the file menu, you will see an option to export and import preferences.
