    KM is on probation for christmas

    i read this news from cnet..It seems kevin mitnick is out on probation.... for the holidays. it says its the FCC that granted it

    Kevin Mitnik has been on probation for about 3 years now. He is just about to get off of probation, after the full term.

    The FCC has nothing at all to do with people getting on, or getting off probation. They only deal with radio/tv/ham/other broadcasting and radio frequency related issues.

    Mitnick's holiday gift came courtesy of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which on Monday released a decision that grants Mitnick his ham radio license renewal after a protracted battle.
    What the FCC granted was his ham radio license, which has been up for renewal since 99 ish.
