I couldn't agree more, but I think that these days people really need to give health as high a priority as work and play. I think too often these days people start a workout program and then as soon as something conflicts, the workouts are the first thing to go. For me, I have to give workouts a higher priority than most things. As soon as you treat your workout routine as a secondary priority, it will then become so. Treat your health as a high priority, then it becomes so.

    Oh, no! A coffee war....

are these reasons enough for you to give up drinking coffee and start drinking milk or juice instead?
Well, I'm allergic to "regular" milk but I do put a lot of Lactaid in my coffee. I use equal intead of sugar (let's not get off track with the alleged drawbacks of artificial sweetener) so I don't have all the sugar that juice has to rot my teeth, and I use whitening strips so my teeth are quite white, see ---->

you got the point my friend....considering exercing as important as food or water,it will never become a secondary priority.there is a good greek essay that says:
"a healthy mind in a healthy body".exercising revives the body and make you feel that you can conquer the world!am i wrong?

its just as important to eat healthy as it is to workout or your body wont have the fuel to run at a neccessary level to have a good workout. I also found when i wasnt eating properly i was tired and yawning all the time and i was no where near as lively and active as i am now

Actually I've never seen concrete uncontradicted proof that coffee is bad for your health . It may be bad for some people, but it just makes my brain work...I can't describe it beyond that, and I never drink it past noon (unless I'm at Starbuck's).
I would have to say that Mountain Dew and Harris Teeter are the things / places that keep me going. I am going to have to get back into the health routine. Computers are taking me over!
Remember from the Matrix when Morpheus says "The body cannot live without the mind" ? Well that door swings both ways...your mind cannot live without your body. Keep it happy.
This is most undoubtfully true! Thank you roswell!

yes but what about your stomach?when you go to the doctor with stomach aches what's his first advice?

"give up coffee, and you will feel better"
i don't think that a cup of coffee is better than a glass of fresh orange juice.
and according to some research cafeine is addictive.after that i can call you coffee addict!!!

ps:have a look at my teeth.. .i don't use whitening strips.....

First...I almost never have to go to the doctor.
    Second....I never get stomach aches.
Third....I DO have a glass of orange juice and a multi vitamin every morning.
Fourth....I did not say coffee was *good* for you or *better* than orange juice.
Fifth....I didn't mention all the good foods I eat.
Sixth...This is the last of my eating habits I'll be airing, tonight.
    Seventh...Congrats on the white teeth.

i put milk in my coffee thats where it belongs. ive recently cut back to a pot a day. if i dont have a cup before going to bed i can't sleep.

ive found that the only way i can get myself to exercise on a regular basis is at the gym. At home there's always later and something almost always comes first. although i have all the equipment at home using it is too sparadic. i commit myself to 3 night a week at the gym and hit the equipment here whenever i get a round tuit. i still come accross them now and then. my 85 pound black lab is responsible for cardio vascular.

i agree tedob1 the gym is far more motivating than at home. at home i always say later or start and then cant be bothered at the gym and at work though i do alot and always get it done.. if all of you can i advise going to the gym rather than doing it at home in my opinion.

if your on your comp all the time the gym can be a great way to get out the house and meet new mates aswell.
