VMware - Where can i get it??
Hey all
i was wondering where i can get VMware. can i download it from somewhere or can i buy it online. or can i download it and give it a serial key??
i want this software so i can experiment with it and see how it works. it seems to be an emulation of a partition so you can install multiple OS's without partitioning your HDD
if any links or something like that would be useful

Here ya go: www.vmware.com
Now, that wasn't too hard, was it?
I really like google.com ;-)
Everything you need to know about the Emulation process is all documented on the VMWare site... Their FAQ's are pretty easy to understand... I really like VMWare, although i'm still having trouble trying to emulate BSD on my win2k box!
yeah, I\'m gonna need that by friday...

If you have licensed your copy (I hope you did so!) you should have a customer- account at VMware you can find the keys you have purchased.
You can find it here: http://www.vmware.com/vmwarestore/ne...mber_login.jsp
I hope this helps you

Linux ist host and XP is guest?
Do you have a valid license-key? For Linux?
The key normally resides in /home/<user>/.vmware
Please go to www.vmware.com and read the extensive documentation. Even solutions installing the license-key are explained.
And NO! I won't give my key to anyone!
