Everytime i see an AOL stand with "Free AOL Disks", i clean them out for all their worth. I hate overbearing advertising. AOL is spamming America, and its not right. We don't ask for those stupid disks to some in the mail. I mean really. How much money are they spending on this. It must be a high figure. Much more could be done with this money. They need a more efficient way of advertising. It really bothers me that everywhere i look is an AOL display. You know, AOL must be the most imperialistic company around. Think about it. They make it so, it binds itself to your network adapters so you cant use anyother ISP with out unbinding them. However with Win XP and 2000 this has been fixed. Also, from an AOL browser you cant hit plainmail.ev1.net, or webmail.ev1.net, or www.ev1.net. They block the competition at every turn. I will continue to steal AOL CD's until they figure out a better way.

Why not have an AOL OS? Wouldnt that be more effective... like the 'AOL Machine'. I dont know. But AOL needs a different method, or I, and others like me, will continue to petition to have 'AOL Disk Throwing' be recognised as an olympic sport.
    hehe

While that may be true....maybe I'm wrong, but you seem to be doing the same thing. Just an observation.

I'd like to share a revelation that I've had, during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify AOL when I realized that they're not actually an ISP. Every ISP on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, but AOL does not. AOL moves its evil on to an area, and then it multiplies, and multiplies, until every natural resource is consumed by its mass-production of satanic cds. The only way AOL can survive is to spread to another area. There is another fountain of evil on this planet that follows the same pattern. A virus. AOL is a disease, a cancer of this planet, AOL is the plague, and we are the cure.

Stop the unborn chicken voices in my head...

Ya i think this is so funny. I take the cds all the time then i use them for coasters ot i like to throw them like frizbees. I one time threw on eright when i got out and hit this car and i ran and they chased me down with there car. I think that its also stupid to give those cds away for free.

I posted something similar to this on a VB forum a while back.. aparently alot of people have made this connection, which is funny, because aol/timewarner is the studio responsible for the Matrix movies. lol.

I just recieved an AOL cd here at work with 1024 hours free! The interesting thing that I saw (before the cd was thrown into the trash) was that it now says "No Credit Card required."

Great, now Hackers can have annoymous AOL access...
