Cheap Alternative To Buying Software

hey, don't get me wrong- i love VB (i code VB applications for a living, that's my job)... rapid application development , ease of use, resources, documentation, VB has it all- but it's still sloppy, and i wouldn't leave running on my machine 24/7- but that's just my opinion...

I got the secretaries to rename files to "client.matter filename.ext" My vb app then recursed the server drives and moved the files to the appropriate folders.

It did all this with no arguement and manually it would have taken 40 secretaries about 3 weeks.

I did it my self in 8.5 hours.

It took 8 hours??? Maybe im misunderstanding you, but that isnt anything to be bragging about..
