One option would be 1st page, really handy because you can just use buttons to insert tags, while still having control on the tags used. And my other option, since I am not a table fan, is using Vim with syntax highlight. Yup, it´s vi on steroids. Lovely little editor.. .

I use an editor called www publisher. You still have to know html to use it though, but it has many tags in menus at the top to make it quicker to code. It will even generate the code to do tables and frames.
