XP Clock Issue
Hey there all,
One of the machines on my home network is having some difficulty keeping proper time. I have gone in and synced up the time using the feature available, however, the clock resets periodically. I'm thinking this could be an issue with the system clock on the MB, but I wanted to run this issue by you all.

Does it reset to the beginning of the year or something? Do you use power-saving functions?
I think it could either be a power-save issue or maybe an old motherboard bios battery or maybe a bad power supply.

No, it usually resets to like midnight of the correct day and I'm not using any power-saving functions. I think it's an issue with the hardware itself.

Might as well try replacing the motherboard bios battery. Worth a shot.
