Linux SLOWED down!
OK, basically im on a redhat/win2k computer and recently everything just completely slowed down in redhat. WIn2k is normal but redhat is totally slow. Usually daemons start up real fast when i start up, but now they start up slowly, and i log in slowly. Basically everything is slow. It was blazing fast one minute, then i rebooted, loaded up win2k, played some games, rebooted, and started linux up and it was slow as hell. The last thing i did in linux was mount the fat32 partition and looked for a file. thats all, i didnt do anything other than that. I have no idea whats going on here..
can anyone help?

Maybe it's your terminal emulation. Changing it to vt100 helps when things go slow like log in to me.
Hopes, this helps

Re: Linux SLOWED down!
U mention the problem but what about the yr computer's config...
Mostly if u r using linux with MS-Win/xp/2k,etc it will became little slower,it could be win or linux itself.
Are u using Pcquest linux??
(-:IF U R A HACKER TRY TO BE ON POINT,IT SAVES TIME:-)
