    sound under linux mandrake

    how can improve the quality of sound under linux mandrake??
    i play mp3 with xmm1(the lookl-like winamp proggie)
    but it's not that clear
    any suggestion!

    Maybe try reinstalling the drivers for your sound card... Also, has the sound card worked okay in the past? Have you tried it under Windows? I would ensure that you have the most up-to-date drivers for that sound card installed...
