Oh please kissass!
In response to my first post in this thread:
your really an idiot for saying that
You know what, i see some hypocrisy in this statement, it's like if anyone else were to post something like an exploit....... or hack this deface that, they get flamed out the ass.

Maybe the idiot is the one kissing Mr.Crunch's ass with all these post. I think he said it best.
Come on you guys, can the "groupie" crap.
So you whoever you are, your the idiot and your probably one of the guy's who has kissed his ass.
And that is in no way meant as an offence to you Mr.Crunch. I'm sure your a great guy, and a distinguished hacker, and there is no higher calling in the computer world than to fight spam, so cheers to you.
But to that certain butt kisser, your lame find someone else's ass to kiss...... how bout mine!
Yeah i realize i'll be negged for the rest of my duration here at AO for this post, and eventually into banishment, but that is a testament to how lame some of you are. That's not directed at those who would not engage in that sorta thing, but you get the point. You see Mr.Crunch just how lame such a thing as antipoint's are. Correct me if i'm wrong, but arent antipoint's useless, i mean you can ban a member without having to use them, and block an ip range if needed. How many post have we seen about antipoint's(including this one)? I think someone said 35% or so of the post on AO are Antipoint related right?
Besides, i already read all that juicy stuff in the addict's forum today, did'nt get finished though, there's alot of thread's in there. Muuuuuhahahahahahah! Just kidding actually they even admit it's kinda slow in there.
Thank's to all the guy's/gal's on here that sent me friendly messages via the Ap center, and ive said this before on another account, many of you guys are indeed uber. But i would rather head somewhere else where i don't have to click a thing and read what some jackass wrote about me(the point's great, but the comment's....come on!!). I love the one i got the other day, and PS i know who you are, and your a big baby if you think i thought this about you.
From Mr.High and Mighty senior possibly on the top ten chart: 62 to 65 point man... so i figure your on that chart, or close to being on it.
You take me as a "fence sitter" and a little bit of a "back side kisser"...Speak your mind and stop 1 line replies just to boost your posts..
Come on guy, if you think that this is what i think about you then your just being paranoid. Everything i say in my response's to thread's, and when assigning Ap's is from my heart. So i don't know where you got that from, and i'm sorry if that's what you think.
I am speaking my mind darnit.

Sorry to spoil your thread Mr.Crunch as i can see it is a tribute to you, but i still think breaking the law is a crime, and i don't care how uber someone is, i'm not gonna kiss someone's ass that break's the law: in the past or present. I would'nt of kissed my own ass when i was breaking the law as a script kiddie so no hard feeling's.

Bug report, i can't seem to get the "get more" tab to work on the smilies chart.
Goodbye guy's.

Dont let the rejects of the site get you down dude. I get those negative points and comments almost every other day when I post. Don't let it bother you. The points system here dosn't mean a thing. This is a great community to be a member of. Some people have to make themselves feel better by handing out negative points all the time.

re: Spam Bot killer... It is clear these trojans are causing serious problems. I like your idea and want to discuss this privately with you. So Dr Toker, please Email me and we can have a productive discussion on this.
Our SNS system is designed to track these people down, especially the people that try and infect systems with their "Spam Bots". I have some really cool ideas on how to track these buggers down.

How ironic....Im reading this thread and i get a new e-mail, then my Anti Online mailer pops up and so i check that one, delete it, and the mail i got from someone i wasnt sure of loaded.
It was spam of course, as soon as it loaded my firewall popped up, it was trying to communicate with me! an e-mail! i blocked it (told firewall NO) and the pic in the mail wouldnt load after that thankfully....its sad. An e-mail can do alot of things most people dont know of.
I know when im done with college (which im NOT trying to kiss ass but if it wasnt for people like John Draper and Steve i would NOT be there, id be kicked out of high school still and working as a dishwasher) after im done in college and start actually working a good job, i plan on being a sys admin untill i can start my own company. e-mail is one of the things ill be wanting to teach people about. i dont think some people realise the things that can hide in an e-mail. Also i think its shitty that people want to send these damn things.
Seriously who really wants to see a horse with a girl???? Captain, thanks for actually doing something about it.

Very true, Gore. I would venture to say that nearly 100% of the average surfers are actually the major portion of the problem itself.... inadvertantly, of course. See, as most SPAM messages with images are loaded in the preview screen, main window, etc., they contain a hidden image identifier tag, which - in turn - communicates a unique representative token to the central server. This is logged in a database, and the flag is flipped as an "active" email address. The list is sold, multiplies, and continues to grow throughout the SPAM'er community.... but it doesn't stop there. Auto-loading ActiveX controls, as we all know, often contain autodialing scripts, autodownload scripts, and MMRS (Miniature Mail Relay Systems), which propogate the message further. Thus, while we may continue to crusade against SPAM in this direction (don't you love how this conversation has mutated from the first post? ), it's my opinion that education is first necessary, and is SEVERELY lacking, considering the growing problems and threats.
Anyone care to elaborate further, or have any plans to increase public awareness of SPAM techniques? Anyone disagree?
I'm all ears....

yes - this is a common spammer trick. They just make as 1 x 1 pixel image, and use that as a "tracker" to see if the Email address is good. In our case, of course it's good..... It's a honeypot, one of millions that can be spread around for the PIGS (spammers) to wallow in.
But what can really get spammers is to infiltrate them with Honeypot SMTP servers. They use scanners to look for them. So when a scanner comes across a honeypot, they are going to pounce on it like pigs in ****. Playing to their Greed, they will be amazed at how fast the honeypot works (it really doesn't have to do anything - other then give them the impression the mail is going through). In meantime, while the spammer is running their spammer program, true logging takes place, and since they are directly connecting to it (they have to), then I get a true log of their real origin, and NOT the ISP's mail server IP. I would have the DSL/Cable/ or dialup port IP. From that, I can track them down (through cooperation of their local provider).
Normally, spammers would use an open relay (one of millions out there), but these are usually in China (which means it's a lot slower and less desirable to use), because spammers are GREEDY, and want to spew out as much as possible in the shortest time. But going through these gatways offer little opportunity to track them, because they are hiding two or more layers deep, so it's a loosing battle.
Once a spammer stumbles into a honeypot, they can be tracked.

I like the idea captain but be prepared for a lot of lawsuits heading your way. I know what you are doing is legal, and that by breaking into your honypot the spammers are breaking the law, but this hasn't stopped them from suing people before. Be warned that most US spammers are in Florida and that state has no anti-Spam laws. The major spammer has a greedy lawyer on retainer, and has attacked antispam organizations with frivolous law suits before.
No as for the old days being gone, fido net is still up and running and accepting new nodes, and there are a few of us out there moving BBS's over to *nix and telnet (working on a HellGaurd port myself)

You're right, Florida has no anti-SPAM laws. However, bballad, Cap [John Draper, who I'll heretofore respectfully refer to as 'Mr. Draper'] isn't in Florida, which works out perfect. One thing Florida *does* have is an obligation to Federal mandates, which tend to frown upon interstate computerized breaking and entering. Check the link out. I'm going to post this in another forum so other people read it, too....
