You are getting caught up in semantics, remember Islam and Christianity both stemmed from Judaism...Go back far enough and you have Abraham (and Zoraster before him), he had two kids (I think I have the names right so far) he Jews believe that they are all decedents of the second kid while the Muslims think that they are descendents of the first born son...... So they both claim that the same area of land is rightfully theirs.

Not only is their a common basis for the religions, their is a common ancestor if you believe the Old Testament. So this is just a family dispute between cousins over an inheritance....See this is why every one should have a will.

Zarathrustra did not come before Abraham, but well after him. Most of the Parsian faithful do not subscribe to any content of the Abrahamic scrolls.

No, I am not caught up in semantics, I simply prefer to be accurate in describing religions.
By the way, Abraham had more than two children. You need to check your facts if you are going to discuss a subject.

I agree with bballad. Abraham had two sons : the first Ishmael from Hagar and the second Issac from Sarah.
And I think that Abraham was the father of Christianism, Islam and judaism.

Correct..and where as he had more then two is Irrelivant we are discuessing the first two.
Ishmael is the eldest so according to Israilite law he inharets his fathers position and land (what became Israil) Issac was the sacrifice that wasn't. The Muslims trace themselves back to Ishmael the Jews back to Issac. Ohe and chekc the dates Zoraster predated Abraham by a few centuries.

The land the Palestinian's are sitting on at the moment isnt actually their's. Jordan is where their homeland is. The league of Nation's distributed that land in the Palestinian Mandate. If anything, you could say no-one knows_ what's what_ over there since the League of Nations/British were handing out this land over a period of time(at least where the Palestinians are concerned). Even by their (muslim's) holy book the Koran, we know Israel belong's to Jew's though.

It included 44,855 square miles of land that is now Jordan, the West Bank, Gaza and Israel, and which, at the time, consisted of about 600,000 people, Arabs and Jews and a few Christians.

King Abdullah's dad is the one who stole their homeland, he kicked the Palestian's out of Jordan in 1970. The Palestinian Mandate clearly states that Jordan was allotted to them.

In 1970 King Hussein kicked the Palestinian Liberation Organization and Yasser Arafat out of his country, which resulted in "Black September".

Arent like 80% of the people in Jordan palestinian? Hmmm.... Now it makes sense.

They are just Arab refugees. Everybody knows that. Just a whole lot of squatters.
