Hey its "the one"... neo dude, to hell with the blue and red pills... just eat some rat poison and it should get you ****ed up really nicely. Ok you mind if I suggest some books instead? You can learn a hell of alot more from these than the stupid & lame bullshit on http://astalavista.com/ which SirSub suggested... unless your after downloads & those tutorials on makeing batch files or how to use sub7
Some of the many books I have are:
Learning RedHat linux (Has a CD with almost everything you need... & the book is great)
C++ Primer Pluse
Introduction to local area networks
Essential System administration
VB6 application developement
Step by step VB6 professional
Step by Step moveing to .net
Unix in a nutshell
Learning C++ (not sams teach yourself C++ in 21 days... it sucked... C++ Primer was better)
Those for dummies books, hacking exposed books, & Sams books are ok but I'd stay away from those Sams teach yourself books... the last sams teach yourself book I seen at the book store had 439 pages about pointing & clicking in frontpage haha!

well the specialist VB books but i wuld suggest some C....the ultimate dialect for *nix
C programming FAQ, C programming Language K & R, these two books are only suggested if u have already read a simple book on C. If anyhow u are able to get some books published by indian authors then i can suggest some very good ones to make ur base...
Let Us C ,Yashwant Kanetkar, BPB publications
Understanding Pointers In C , Yashwant Kanetkar, BPB Publications
Hidden Secterts Of C, Rajiv Dhunkar, BPB Publications
C oddesy -UNIX programming, BPB Publications...
these books will also be cheap for u...
For security....its the other side of Hacking...the first step towards security..start hacking yourself
so set on with....
Maximum security...
Hacking Exposed
Hacking Exposed Linux
Hacking Exposed Windows
Counter Hack.
would be enuff for u to get set go.....
