    Computer Urban Legends

    ok came across this site while just surfing the other day and thought it might be of some use - if only just cause its intresting

    alot of the information is quite old but it does a good job of highlighting the real from the hoaxes - Virii Urban Legends

    it has a bunch of other sections - General Internet Related

    and then there is just the main section which deals with all other manners of urban legends - but it is the first 2 i think might prove usefull - at least you can see some of the common hoaxes people fall for

    ummm not exactly why i posted them - more so people would know what to expect when they got the annoying "umm i think i got a virus email" type call

    I know that Val, i'm gonna send one of them to a friend who's pulled that sorta stunt on me..
    Just to see how shocked he looks when he opens the email.
    As he's always bragging about how he's never been infected by a Virus...
    So i just wanna scare him enough so that he realises that one day it just might happen..
