Napster's Back?
I had seen some commercials on TV lately for napster. Is it just me, or weren't they deemed illegal in a big contriversial decision? I was wonderring if anyone has heard anything new about this?

Ahh, I believe the illegal bit was there previous business model, now that they have beejn assimilated by the RIAA corporate fellas and charge a monthly fee (which I assume much of it goes to paying of the RIAA goons).
I don't know exactly how there new model is supposed to work, but Napster is no longer the Robbing(or Robin, depending on your stance) Hood that it once was.
I suppose one could say they sold out, but then, that's often what cutting your losses looks like, isn't it.
I dunno, I'm no expert, don't take anything I say worth much.

It's a subscription service with the legally bought Napster trademark.

I've been looking since TheRepublican posted, but I still haven't seen one yet.
Lots of iTunes/iPod commercials, but no Napster.
Hmmph, oh well.

bah... paid napster sucks.
It is indeed fair to the music industry, and we have to think that if we alll dl songs instead of buying the CD's there won't be any cd's.... but it just doesn't taste the same does it?
