I thought Revolutions was better than the second one....if you really think about it, it really couldn't have ended any other way.
Carrie: Someone\'s definition of what constitutes cheating is in direct proportion to how much they themselves want to cheat.
Miranda: That\'s moral relativism!
Carrie: I prefer to think of it as quantum cheating.

Before you take the pill, you must first realize the truth...
There is no pill.

Yeah I was being a little critical. The movie was good and the ending makes sense. I just wanted everyone to woop some machine ass. You realize the machine world is much too powerful and we are completely at their mercy, like Mice in a cage. That's what I think is suckage.

Yes, but it was their own power and arrogance that eventually caused their downfall. It was inevitable. In order to preserve thier society and thier power, they needed agents, which would in turn grow too powerful and eventually overrun them.
They enslave humans -> they create the matrix -> some humans break free -> they create agents -> agents overpower them -> humans must be freed to destroy Smith.
Enslaving humans is what freed them.
It is a reiteration of an ancient historical axom which states that any sufficiently powerful empire will eventually collapse on itself, without exception.

But only a few are freed and the machine city and the mechanism in the matrix are not touched. They spared Zion (spelling?) only as a bargaining chip and only for a short term, Perhaps a few hundred years. The dark truth is mankind is lost. They are - or will -always be subject to the whim of the machines. Even when called upon to destroy Agents when they systematically cycle through their own evolution and destruction.
