PunkBuster just released a major patch that catches all gamehooks into DirectX (or so they claim) in the last couple of weeks...the number of cheaters has dropped substantially for the time being...

Yeah, the marksmanship stuff was reallly really really really annoying...I barely got it with 36/40...between your breathing and the mouse being so sensitive I was having a hard time with it, finally got it though...I highly recommend playing around with it until you can hit the 36/40...

BF 1942 has cheaters. The bastards; but they are very limited because it's so damn obvious it's actually funny. You guys know in the new release they are adding ant-cheat? I play on game.fortweb.com. AO non-cheating members are most welcome. There is a small enthusiastic group who reg there on BF 1942 and most have some voice on how it's operated. I am still on an anit-steam bandwagon at the moment so I haven't played any games on the half-life engine for a while.

Was checking out evenbalance today looking for punkbuster updates to Americas Army and saw that they just contracted to do BF1942...Checked on unknowncheats and they seemed to have a good many cheats for BF1942, granted not as many as the other games. Give them time...it is actually kinda sickening watching a game you enjoy get destroyed by cheaters (and accusations flying all over the place about people cheating).

Check em out, pretty damn nice site, would be even nicer if gamespy would fix their little server list/stat bug (should be fixed in next release of Americas Army). Regardless, will keep an eye out for you. Speaking of which, who is [DS] Victor? Anyone?

I just registered there now.
I should be cheyenne1212 there, but in the game, I'm cheyenne12
However when I go to my stats, it says no player by that name or ID. Mayeb its cause I haven't played any yet.

You have to go to your user CP and enable tracking if you haven't done that already. As far as your stats go, if you don't goto a server listed on that site with 16 players or less, then they can't track it (note aforementioned bug in game/gamespy). It will however, tell what server you are on and your honor (which makes it work in the buddylist). Adding you now.
