    oh by the way,i had a fellow way back that tought me how to activate connection with chat clients...He uses REGEDIT and puts some value on it...i forgot how

    netstat won't do you much good in this case.
    netstat will only give you the connections for the local PC.

    Its not going to tell you what is allowed through the firewall/router.

    Only the admin can tell you that.

    (well, there are other ways... but I don't think you want to get fired... so I won't mention them.)

    Chances are: If you can't use it by the default install, he's blocking for a reason. (as he should).
    Quitmzilla is a firefox extension that gives you stats on how long you have quit smoking, how much money you\'ve saved, how much you haven\'t smoked and recent milestones. Very helpful for people who quit smoking and used to smoke at their computers... Helps out with the urges.
