We wouldn't hold elections. We use the line of succession until all of them die, then we hold elections, so unless all get wiped, the next person in line stays until the next election (which is every 4 years)

Tedob1,
The old Navy phrase "Loose Lips Sinks Ships" applies here as well. I believe it was/is completely irresponsible for anyone to disclose any information, in any country, about where your safe domains are for your leaders. As much as we may like or not like them, the leaders are the only ones who can flip the war machine "on" and just as important if not more, "OFF"
This article wasn't about the Alto First Seat at the local Glee Club.
cheers

thadbme: the belt way crowd is the washington belt reporters forthe major papers and television news outlet...just a term that most jurnalists use for them. so no they are not local. as for the press in my area, the local papers are major national papers with there own national tv outlet, again not local stuff.

Again, I can't go to the bookstore and pick up one of those papers. I sure can get a Time magazine with no problems, as I'm sure they would be easy to pickup overseas as well. Time is much bigger than those papers.
