IP addresses
Hi, I'm new and I would like to learn a thing or two about hacking. I was on another site and they said to come here for advice and to ask to be tought about IP addresses.

A few things first:
1. Welcome to AO. 
2. Read the FAQ. It's there to help you. Asking how to "hack" is likely not to get the response you are looking for.
3. Wanting to learn about hacking is interesting but it's also rather broad.
4. Why do you want to know about IP Addressing and what specifically? Take a visit into the Other Tutorials section as there are a few tuts on IP and IP Addressing.

Why would we bother spoon-feeding you anything about IP addresses? This isn't a non-profit teaching club, it's a place to seek help and advice. You can learn about IP around the web and then come here for clarifications. Please, read the FAQ before anything.
Oh and... this is not a place to teach/learn hacking. But maybe after the FAQ...
