off topic - Gore/Nemory - please try to keep your fighting/arguing/hatred to one thread (and nitpicking is included in that)

on topic - i posted my last post here when i was still half asleep and what i ment to say is that i am hoping to switch over to using E because i liked how it looked while running blackbox

I have never really tried anything other than GNOME or KDE for longer than say 30 seconds so this thread might just have what it takes to make me try E

To be honest, I am a GNOME guy, if I have to. I really don't like not using my command line. I try to use that whenever available. I very rarely divate from that.

Though Gnome is good, I haven't played with KDE much, but I liked GNOME a bit more.

kde and gnome are desktops (ala windows bloat) not window managers , I stick with fluxbox, its highly customizable and very fast with exellent features above and beyond blackbox which it is based off of. When feeling ultra minimalist i use http://freshmeat.net/projects/ratpoison/

kde first, then fluxbox. I never have liked blackbox or gnome for some reason or another. And last but not least the cli.

I use KDE mostly just because it is the default on the system I have installed.
