first and foremost happy birthday.
now, off to ftp'ing. I know if you want a free and open source file server that is very much like bulletproof and raiden ftpd you can go with filezilla from sourceforge. I have had NO problems with it yet AND the options are very good for controlling it (and you can remotely connect to administer it if you want)

Hey Hey,
I've gone back to using the IIS FTP Server...I open it up when I need it and it more than does the trick, however I used to use GuildFTPd.... It's an amazing full featured piece of software... Definately does the trick for basic and advanced serving needs.
Peace,
HT
PS.
Happy Birthday

Happy b_Day v_Ln! As for an FTP server, I have always used FTPd, and worked just fine.
Hey, if you have the time, I need some help with Flash forms.
