    um, those are the Intel ads and objects on the front page and on the threads at the top.

    no, its not normal. but i assume thats how jupman media(?) are making revenue from this site. yes, its fine because its been inbuilt into AO.

    They all say realmedia so I'm guessing they are trying to get realmedia to run the ads. But that's just a guess.

    ok.

    there are numourous ads around the place. however, you shouldnt worry anyways, as the source is from the server AntiOnline is on. so one would just assume its normal and intended to work like that, or that the servers have something unintentional on them, which will (im sure) be removed shortly.

    however, its nothing to worry about if im correct that they are the ads on the forums.

    Let me guess...

    Your host file redirects the ads to your localhost...

    Did you customize your host file for ad blocking? That would explain it.

    well somebody or something did. look in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc for a file called hosts

    or

    c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc

    or

    etc/hosts

    depending on your system. open hosts with notepad.

    Good Grief people.......is no one using their heads.

    Your using a Kerio 4 Firewall (or something similar) and it is blocking the ads and logging their attempts.

    Kind of simple when you think about it ..... isn't it?
