    signature too long?

    I changed my sig a few days ago, and apparently it was too long.
    The site thought it would be a good idea to replace all instances of my saved signatures with a message saying it was too long. Not a big deal, it just left me wondering if this is by design. If it is, maybe change it so it only edits the current signature, and not all of them?

    Signatures are not saved with posts. Your current sig is displayed with all your posts from today back to the day you joined. That means when you have an error in your sig, the error will be displayed instead of your sig for every one of your posts.

    This is by design - it's the way forum software behaves.
