Atleast i came across to something new for me....... thats why i said i got ur point.... Although im still unaware of wht should i do so i think u need to beat my big head more ..... may be ur not hittting on the rite spot..... if u c a big wall in front of u dont just start hitting it with all ur might rather look for a point which is not that strong n then hit it.... this will save ur time.....

/me continues to beat Fanacool with the point, smacking him over the head with it until he bleeds. My head bleeds hmhm then this would get worse cause outcome will be zero the very little amount of Intelligence i have which i doubt will be gone forever......

I will be happy to beat you up with it some more. And you don't like being beaten over the head with my point, i will rather enjoy this may result gud......

Switches or routers with parellel ports on them are nothing more than imedded print servers. You assign the printer port and IP address stick the printer on it and walla you have a print server inside the device that controlls and manages the port and associated printer. The printers DO NOT connect to the port with an ethernet connection. They connect via a normal old printer port of choosing. There wouldn't be a point in having a printer port on there if the printer already has an ethernet card and IP address assigned to it. Remember switches are now common place and are no longer just associated with hi-end Cisco type applications. They have taken the place of Hubs. Hell you can barely even buy a hub anymore. Switches with "printer" ports are a nice way to go. Then you don't have to dedicate a PC to control the printer. This is a cheap way to get network printers. In fact I stopped buying dedicated jetdirect or network printers a long time ago. Little boxes with web enabled printer controls are cheaper, and just as good. See links; todays vender of choice is CompUSA. Even if you have a USB only printer, most still come packaged with a parrallel port inside, because it would cost too much to manufacture 2 seperate items on the line. ALthough both switches with print servers and this printer ports come in both parrallel and USB flavors.

Print Server tha pops right on the port

    Switch with printer port (USB)

Multiple Printers on a single Ethernet connection (parallel)

    And etc...

They are fantastic and you can reset them via browser.
