Legalize Hacking

I'm writing a paper for my Technical English class, it is a persuasive paper, i chose the topic "Why hacking Should be Legalized". Do you guys have any good points i can argue in my paper as to why hacking should be legalized ? I am gonna argue that all information should be availale to everyone (i know it's wrong and i disagree with that) but im just gonna use it as a point to argue in my paper.

So far i have.

Increase Security in Computer Systems
All Information available
Technology will advance at a faster rate
Software will advance at a faster rate
It would create jobs i guess, as in more security admins etc needed.


Any more points or websites, articles i can read on that subject ?

Hrrm, that's a hard subject. I guess it would create more integrity over the net since noone would want people seeing some of the sites they go to. Also, it'd probably increase the average persons technical knowledge, since everyone would be a free target to the "legal h4x0r" communities that would popup.

I give up, if I think of something I'll edit it in.. but like I said, that's a hard subject.


Goodluck on the paper, even with just those points I'm sure you'd do well.
