this kid has a grand total of 4 posts, he doesnt know very much of how things work around here from what i can tell....
alMOSt.....do your self a favor and read teh site FAQ.....it saves lives
everyone else....i agree egaladeist, lets see what he can do
i think this site should implament something that makes new users read the FAQ as to prevent stuff like this....that way someone couldnt use the phrase "i didnt know"....
i have a few ideas how to make this site better when it comes to flaming...if anyone is interested in hearing what i have to say just PM me and il tell ya what i think......

the site FAQ wouldn't really do much good as i dont think it is going to cover much on copyright infringment with reagrds to images etc

Like I said in the other thread...there really isn't much an artist can do to prevent someone from stealing their work...one instance: back in the seventies and early eighties I had a satirical magazine called " Typically Stupid "and one of the items in there was a section called " Dear Gabby " within months I saw three other " Dear Gabby "'s pop up almost identical to mine...and that's just one instance. Here's an internet version of the " Dear Gabby " I started in the seventies...
http://www.comcom121.org/gabby/gabby.htm
I'm surprised no one stole my " Horridscopes " ( correction: apparently lots of people have ) or my " According to Gungj " ( still safe for now )
Artists, unlike others who are in a collective or under a label such as the music industry, have to police their own work...and don't have the time, resources, or the inclination to do so. They just accept the fact there's not much they can do to stop it.
Companies, by contrast, sometimes want you to steal their emblems or logos, Linux for example has received more exposure from the theft of their penguin than they ever could have paid for...it's free advertising...they probably would like everyone to steal their logo and plaster it on every page in the net.
That's my 0.01 cent ( exchange rate )
