Yea, the teachers computers holding the grades, the administrators computer, the servers, they're all on on the same network for whoever was wondering. It'd be childs play for someone bad to get into them right now. Tigershark - Thanks for the offer, and I'll PM you if it's needed.

For an update - *Sigh* - as to this date, none of these problems have yet been addressed. I'm considering re-emailing the administrator and school bored. Do you guys think I should?

if you go to the Los Angeles Unified School District (as I did), you will find out that most things there (even if it's something as simple as buying a goddamned desk for a student to sit at) takes at least a year...

They probably didn't flag this as an urgent issue anyway, because, to them, you're just some kid trying to create problems ("as if we didn't have enough problems anyway"). Good you stayed anon.

So, if you wish to pursue this any further, good luck to you, but be prepared to fight a lengthy legal battle if they find out who you are. Any school will joyfully jump at the opportunity to nab a kid hacker that did damage to their system, if you know what I mean.

Personally, I would now sit back and wait for the fireworks. Then, if you have a problem with your grades, you can always point at an incident or lack of security.

Sorry if I sound so negative, but I just remembered why I hated high school so much.

Try anonymously mailing these same security issues and your suggested solutions, and the fact that you emailed them months ago to the local campus (or town) newspaper. You might include the nasty response the Admin sent you. Nothing spurs an institution to action faster than bad press.
