Well i went searching for the XP Network Diag. Tool and ended up finding something else instead. For anyone else having a ploblem with the 'limited or no connectivity' problem where the send light won't flicker: http://www.pchell.com/support/limitedconnectivity.shtml .

Im getting ready to switch over the network cable after i transer the patch and try it. It happens after you instal XP SP2.

Well the patch and registry fix didn't work, still no flicker. I reset TCP/IP and nothing there either. The disk that Comcast gave me has a network utility tool i used before when setting up wireless. Even that program coulnd't find any network connectivity. I've switched around nic's even. Im completely out of ideas again and head back to the drawing board.
