Actually, it was an answer to the question, although somewhat indirect.
In my humble opinion the easiest way to hack anything is using social engineering techniques.
My reply was a very obvious attempt at social engineering.
I was hoping that riot would have made the connection, perhaps he did.

Hi Riot,
The best way to hack a box is still the ole' fashion tried and true method
1. Find target computer
2. pick up large Louisville slugger
3. swing bat repeatedly until box opens
This is also a great way to reduce stress!

Have to say I agree with nihil...not a very productive use of a sword...but a very productive use of explosives
