Thread: Help required identifying Intel processor

Haven't had much sleep, I was fighting Nordic warriors in walhalla in my dreams the last few nights/saga. My REM's are deadly.

Well, sorry about the delay in getting back to you, guys.
I have now officially given up on this.
I had another crack at installing the Intel board last night, only to discover that the black plastic frame into which the heatsink gets clipped is partly broken, meaning that the heatsink wouldn't make proper contact with the top of the CPU. Also, due to the force required to clip the heatsink on to the board, it's twisting the whole motherboard out of shape, which can't be good for it!
So, that RAM will be going back on EBay real soon!
Oh, and to whoever it was who asked about the PSU (sorry, I'm on the first page of the thread as I'm typing this), it's an ISO (that's the brand) 400 watt supply with both a 20pin ATX connector, and the 12V 4 pole connector, so it should be fine for running either setup (if everything else had gone to plan, that is).
    Cheers,
    Bruce.
