About 3 years ago, I tried a Long Island for the first time... then I tried another... and another... and another... they were free. That was after drinking for a few hours before and then a few hours afterwards.

I have never been more destroyed in my whole life... and I hope never again. I wasn't really aware that Long Islands were 100% alcohol! Yikes!

All I can say is, anything after 5:00 pm that day is a total blur... I've heard stories though.

Just caught up with this thread.

Like Deeboe, i too look young for my age (i'm 24) and get asked for ID wherever i go. For example:

I was in Tahoe recently on holiday and we decided to go to the casino's. Well I always get asked for ID in the casino's and i don't mind that as firstly in America i'm only 3 years over the legal limit, and afterall when you can potentially gamble 1000's of Dollars (BTW i stuck to 10's of dollars ) its good to know they take ID seriously.

Anyway i've lost all i want to loose for the night and i'm sitting in the bar. I haven't actually bought a drink at this point, just had them bought for me by friends and my fiance comes over. She asks me if i can get her a glass of water, so i say sure. When i get to the bar i ask for a glass of water and the bartender goes "got any ID"!

So i look at him and say "for a glass of water?" and he says "yeah, i need to see ID" So i handed it to him and got served the water. Now asking for ID for gambling or buying alcohol, yeah i can understand, but when you've been sitting in a bar drinking for nearly an hour (i might add the table was right next to the bar, so the bartender could see our group and we weren't quiet, but no more rowdy than anyone else in the bar!) and then get ID'd for a glass of water, i think thats a bit overkill!!!

Needless to say we walked the 10 metres down the road to the next bar as we didn't want to give our money to such a stuck up place (and yes i know i probably lost far more than i would have spent on drink, but its the principal )

heh... I haven't been carded ever. Except for places that card everyone. I was going to bars at 14.

My boss was an alchy and would take me out after work and buy me drinks. Humerous enough, I got laid in a public place the first time at 14. It was BW3.

As for the person that said I thought the point was to keep this stuff out of the main forums. If I recall correctly that is what GCC is for, random talk about BS that will lighten your day.

As for being drunk, I recently did something that I swore I would never do. THis is very bad and I never recommend anyone do it.

But, I went drunk driving. It was so much fun. I was on the freeway doing 90-110 while I drive like this normally something about being drunk made it all the more fun. (For those that actually care. I wasn't to the point where I couldn't see, but I had about 8 beers. Which to me is like drinking water.) But, I had a total ball. I don't think I will do it again. I am a stickler for driving after drinking. But, I will be honest it was exceptionally fun.

You're right! It is for random BS, that wasn't my point. My point was that these kinds of threads have a habit of getting out of hand because you're supposed to post in them drunk...that's why they're better suited for Addicts where you originally posted it. And that's why you originally posted it in Addicts.
The only reason this is in GCC is because you can't yet get into Addicts so you decided to start one here...kinda like there's a line-up at the toilet so instead of waiting I think I'll take a leak right here.
To each their own...I was just making a point...and I did it the right way by negging the thread not the poster...something you should learn in your new incarnation.

Actually the reason I posted it in addicts is because I firmly believe that once you have made it to addicts you have earned the right to view my and marks posts about all the odd, fun, weird stuff we do.

My reason for moving it/restarting it was because of what you said.
