Don't blame it on the people, blame it on the leaders.
    Agreed.

A person is smart, people are stupid. Blaming the entire germanic peoples is like, well, claiming people of oriental/asiatic decent are only good for math, dry cleaning, and cooking. Or black people are guaranteed to be superior athletes.

It just isn't true. They are generalizations made on some perceptions, right or wrong, that simply can't apply to the entire group.

Now perhaps the german heritage, culture, and way of life leant itself to the rise to power these individuals achieved, but that doesn't mean the germans were themselves all evil and despiteful to the core.

How many American people support, follow, and wholeheartedly believe in everything George W. Bush has done? Can every last one of them (us) be blamed or rewarded for his accomplishments, good or bad? How about the Iraqis? How about the Maylais? (sp?) Or the Japanese, or the Chinese? Lot's of "democratic" countries are fearful and complaining about China...but did you know that 1 in 5 humans on this planet are Chinese Farmers?

I hope the opening of these archives helps us achieve greater enlightenment and we can minimize the hype and BS behind it...but I really doubt that is going to happen. Someone's gotta make a buck on it, right? And you don't make money with peaceful and cooperative events, just hype and conflict. :P

It wasn't the germans that caused the rise of those individuals, that was caused entirely by a little thing called the treaty of versailles. Blame the English, the French, and the Americans for the Nazi party. I would say they caused it more with that treaty than any other single act.

Partly true, but Hitler used it to fuel his ambitions, the treaty was draconian in principle, and was mostly to punish the Germans after WWI, but those weren't really persued, otherwise Hitler and Co would not have risen to power so fast, so it was a combination of factors....dirty 30's, treaty and apathy by the major powers who stood by and let Hitler carry on with his ambitions...the people got swept up in Hitler's rise, if nothing else, besides being evil he was Charismatic, and knew what strings to pull and what buttons to push to get the people "snookered", also he sort of got rid of his opposition on his way up.(Night of the Long Knives 1934 well before WWII started).

Oh and for the Tree huggers:

    Hitler was Vegetarian.
He shared many of the same qualities. In fact the cities that outlaw smoking remind me of him.

Don't forget censorship, that's how it all started. Why do you think in Germany you can watch TV and see nudity without it being censored?

... censorship of a few TV stations doesn't bother me, since you can get hardcore porn and 500 channels of **** anytime you want. Not to mention Hustler/Swank/Chunky Ass etc.. at the grocery store. However; even though you can see a tit on TV in Germany you cannot deny the holocaust or display a swastika. Thus speech literature and freedom is curtailed for what I would call the good of all. You will be flixxed in those cases. So censorship is a little gray.

Unfortunately this will not serve as proof to the Holocost Denial mindset. They will simply claim that the information has just now been released, because the powers behind the misinformation just now finished fabricating the documents. You can't convince these people that the Holocost occurred, because they will always find a loophole.
The mentally handicaped are persecuted in this great country, and I say rightfully so! These people are NUTS!!!!

WTF how can someone deny it ever happened? There is VIDEO of these places and how many documents talking about it? Well... I mean it wasn't sucessful... Maybe that's what they mean I don't know. If it was sucessful there wouldn't be any more Jews. and I know there is, the banks in Michigan are still operating.... Lol sorry but I had to get one joke in, specially when we are talking about something as bad as this.
