My plane lands at Heathrow on September 25. I'll drink a pint for you gore. Speaking of free stuff, you can travel through Scotland and hit all the small single malt scotch distillaries in the lowlands and get free scotch. Then head up to the highlands and hit each one over a couple of days and taste (for free) all the goodness of Scotland. And remember. "If it's not made in Scotland, it's crap."

Gore - best of luck in quitting man. I have not smoked a day in my life, but both of my parents and my father-in-law have and still do - and I know it's tough to quit when two war vets try to quit and go back to it! Me - I'm trying to quit caffeine and Sharpie markers.
You have already proven to have the testicular fortitude to own up and make a change, now - it's just the follow-through.
To help you - a quote:
"I have not failed 700 times. I have not failed once. I have succeeded in proving that those 700 ways will not work. When I have eliminated the ways that will not work, I will find the way that will work."
--Thomas Edison
\"We\'re the middle children of history.... no purpose or place. We have no Great War, no Great Depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives. We\'ve all been raised by television to believe that one day we\'ll all be millionaires and movie gods and rock stars -- but we won\'t. And we\'re learning slowly that fact. And we\'re very, very pissed off.\" - Tyler (Brad Pitt) Fight Club.

Yes I know
I've been toying with different brands right now. I smoke Marlboro Reds in a box. But I've been switching to lights, then feeling like my testicles fell off, so I switched to Camel Wides which work good. I'm not smoking every 50 minutes or so now.

After reading this, I've got to say I'm pretty glad I didn't ever start. Two tries my whole life and those were before I was 12 years old. I think the biggest anti-smoking campaign I ever was subjected to was flying trans-atlantic flights from Paris/London to New York on Saudia Airlines. My dad, being an accountant for the airlines, would get tickets anywhere they flew for a stupidly low price (like 90% off) with the only stipulation being standby. Let me tell you how bad it is to sit on a plane for upwards of 13 hours and every arab on-board is lighting up the pipes, cigarettes, you name it.
...
It really truly sucks. We'd buy a pair of clothes to wear on and had another pair of clothes plastic-wrapped so that when we'd land, we'd go change and literally throw the other clothes away. It'd be 3 days later and we're still smelling like @$$...
For those who've quit or are trying to quit, hats off to you. Your body and everyone around you will thank you. I'm definitely glad that Florida has the law of "no smoking" in every public place outside of bonafide bars.
We the willing, led by the unknowing, have been doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much with so little for so long that we are now qualified to do just about anything with almost nothing.
