How can i installing Windows ME without cd-rom and floppy
Hi,
I have a Fujitsu FMV series notebook. Windows 2000 Japnese version is
installed on same and i want to install Windows Me. But the issue is
that it does not have any cd-rom or floppy disk drive. It just has a
USB port and does not support USB boot. Now i want to install Windows
Me and i am not able to boot it from an USB External CD Rom Drive. Any
pointers on how can i install Windows Me on this laptop.

What options are offered for the boot sequence when you boot into (BIOS) setup?
What I would do is take out the HDD, use an adapter and slave it to a regular desktop...........format then reinstall?

Otherwise I would start taking Japanese lessons

Otherwise, you might just be lucky and it has the Windows 2000 Multilanguage Version installed on it.
<Control Panel>
<Regional Options>
<Menus & Dialogs>
<General>
Then <select language>
Good luck

You mean you cant change the boot settings in the BIOS?...
but why Win Me? the Muckedup Edition.......beside the fact it is a version you have....
honest you will need to get into the boot options in the BIOS.. there should be an option there..
give it a go..

You are correct... .. hey a thought.. if the It isnt the MultiLanguage edition.. I dont think ME's fdisk can repartition the NTFS partition... ... but I suspect we wait for a useful reply..
