What a load of trash?
I can't see anywhere else to put this than in tech humour, in the words of John McEnroe: "You cannot be serious"

Our glorious nanny state and its running dogs have now come up with the idea of putting microchips on our trash cans to monitor waste disposal.
Roll on the next election...............that would be a good time to waste a whole load of trash?

Perhaps this is a new job/business opportunity?
I know that there are industries for re-chipping cell phones and games boxes................... but trash cans and dumpsters?
I just find this rather amusing. Our buses collect data via a GPS system and the ticket machine........ I would have thought that the same technology would work for trash cans?

The system has been in Ireland for a while now where they charge by the weight of the rubbish. It is meant to push people to use the recycling bins as they are free. Of course if you put normally rubbish in the recyling bins you get a nice big fine.
