    i neva know..one of the first ever mouse was made from wood..well partly atleast!

    Please do not be surprised old chap................they probably still are

    The moulds for plastic injection manufacturing are expensive so it is common practice to make the prototypes out of wood, or some other easily worked substance.

    In heavy engineering you tend to use aluminium and brass for the same purpose and for the same reasons.
