level 10: what sort of format/encryption is that string? (not the hex.gif)

edit: nevermind i've got it. I'm curious as to how some of you knew by yourself that it was base64 multiple times. Is it the fact that the first pass of base64->normal is a properly formated base64 string (with = at the end?) Also, it seems kind of strange that the whole gazebruh.htm is completely useless, or is it??

All this post level 10 talk just confirms to me that I've done the right thing leaving it where I did (level 7). It just sounds too damned complicated and unless you've got serious time on your hands, then it would suck up all the hours you weren't at work or asleep

wow thanks alot man. That's kind of ridiculous that two of the three sites just dont even work. Makes me wonder if the 3rd one will even be OK all the way through.

Just curious, how far have you gotten deByte?

look at the source... particularly around the body tag... or read through this thread as I think this might have been covered... [not sure though]

think about the name of the html file you are viewing... if that doesn't help... pm me... but really give it a good look first...

I figured out the part by the bodytag that was close to the name of the page on my own. But when I put the username/password in that I find, it does not work. It just says "Authentication Failed, Try again". The page it says this on is pwd2.php"

I don't like *cheating* to get to the next level .. but I am getting very frustrated. Maybe I just can't read.
