Rain and cloud are indicative of lower atmospheric pressure, which causes sea and ocean levels to rise.

Similarly, global warming also warms seas and oceans which cause the water to expand and the levels to rise.

True, that is the largest global warming constituent in our atmosphere.

I have no firm data but my guess would be that human activity probably reduces it somewhat, as we build more and increase run-off?

Hey guys,
I had to write a paper on the effects of fossil fuels and carbon emissions on global warming. While researching this project I found an article that theorizes what would happen if we were to significantly reduce the carbon emissions (microscopic particles that pollute our atmosphere). This article stated that the presence of these particles is actually reflecting a fair amount of sunlight which is effectively lowering the global temperatures to a few degrees; and that if these reflective particles were to settle back to earth that our temperatures would actually rise, speeding up the warming process. These same particles are also shielding us from some of the harmful suns rays that cause skin cancer. This article also mentioned that the warmer climates would actually benefit our farming industry by giving us more land to grow crops on that are too cold to support them now.

I see it all as a "rock, paper, scissors concept. Something is going to happen I am sure. But I am not convinced yet that it will be all bad. The great thing about human life is our uncanny abilities to adapt to whatever is thrown at us, be it divine or naturist.
