Good Reading...
Greetings all...
There is a magazine that just hit the shelves recently called "Computer Privacy and Security" (part of the Smart Computing Learning Series...Vol.8, Iss.4)
Although it may be old news to some, I found it to be a very good read...especially the section on Biometrics. There's stuff in there about Malware(the PDA and cell phone articles were great), Biometrics, Firewalls, Data Snooping, Social Engineering, Product Reviews, Online Tests, etc, etc...
Anyways...I have been studying security and privacy on my own for a while now, and found this mag to be very informative(if a little redundant)...and I'm pretty sure that experts and novices alike could glean some usefulness out of it...(I'm thinking about a fingerprint scanner for my PC now, just for the hell of it...)...
Just thought that I'd pass along the info and suggestion to check it out...(the term 'Script Kiddies' is even mentioned a few times, can't go wrong there...)
