You are correct. Besides the initial value in professional software there is usually a massive library of tweaks, known issues, help files, manuals and a regular emailing of additional help and newly breaking info on each product. I've never had much luck getting a one-on-one answer from Adobe, but most of the time if I look deep enough it's already in their support archives ...somewhere.... Except how to prevent the Russian cracker's code from compromising your secured PDF and Adobe EReader files....... But maybe they just didn't want to talk about that.
