Here in Ireland (I know my flag says I'm from Monaco but I'm going to college in Ireland at the moment) electronic voting is being used for the first time on a trial basis for the general election tomorrow. Does anybody know how secure electronic voting is? As far as I know it was used in the election in France a few weeks ago, were there any reported attempts of people trying to hack into the central database and change some results?
Will politicians, in future elections, spend their money on hiring hackers instead of election campaigns?
