this is not security related topic but I think that it is good to post it. Many of people hate the noise their computer makes. At least I do. If you have the same problem try SpeedFan program. Information about this prog and dowload version could be found here. Many of you probably know this stuff but for those who don't - it's a program that measures temperature of you processor, HDD etc. and because when your processor is not used (its temperature is descending) -> you(speedfan) can simply lower RPM of your cooler. When the temperature rises RPM rises. Simple and usefull!))) (work only on some exact motherboards but IMO it covers really large number of them so it should be no problem)

btw you use this program on your own risc! but don't be scared I'm and my mates are using it and we are really satisfied... no processors were harmed
