We reap what we saw..?
Greetings all,
People I came across a lot of posts which were made in connection with regard to the sensitive issue of raising kids, how they should behave etc… , and I have put together a few things which I feel we should strongly look at.
Let’s think again!!!
Billy Graham’s daughter was being interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her “How could God let something like that happen?” Regarding the events on September the 11th…And Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response: She said “I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are but for years we have been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman that He is, I believe He calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand that He leaves us alone?
In light of the ongoing situation in our country, terrorist attacks school shootings, etc -Let’s see. Someone said, you better not read the Bible in school …the Bible that says:” Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor like yourself.” And we said OK. Then, Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn’t spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self – esteem (Dr Spocks son committed suicide). And we said, an expert should know what he is talking about. And we said OK.
Then someone said teachers and principles should not discipline our children when they misbehave. And the school administrators said that no faculty member should touch a child when he or she misbehaves because it would mean “bad publicity” and we certainly do not want to be sued. And we said OK.then the entertainment industry said let’s make TV shows and movies that promote profanity, violence and sex. And let’s record music, which promote’s rape, drugs and murder and even murder, suicide and satanic themes. And we said it is just entertainment, and it has no adverse affect, nobody takes it serious anyway so go right ahead.
Now we are asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they do not know right from wrong, and why it doesn’t bother them to kill strangers, classmates, and themselves. Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough we can figure it out .I think it has a great deal to do with what we reap we saw.
Dear God why didn’t you save the little girl in killed in your classroom?..””Sincerely, Concerned student” Reply!!-“Dear concerned student, I am not allowed in schools.”
Sincerely God.
Well I thought I should share it with you guys since kids are important and they are the future of the world. All the better reason to do the best we can.
Regards
