ShieldsUP! ... is DOWN
(But only temporarily.)

ShieldsUP! was not functioning reliably due
to our renovation of the GRC.COM network.
(You can probably see for yourself how slow things are.)

Rather than risk returning falsely secure reports, we have taken ShieldsUP! offline for a day or two until things settle down. Once we're back up our network and services will be more robust and reliable than ever.

Yesterday www.grc.com even did not showed up. Did a small problem occur and the traffic generated due to people wanted to know what was happening caused some sort of DoS? Or is grc renewing some not redundant network stuff?
